Sockyarn destash – Pt. 3

The Art Lab is now my new main blog, but the Boudoir will be your destination when you follow back my comments. Anyway, if you click my gravatar picture, both blogs appear there as well. Each of the blogs also has a link in the header menu that leads you to the other one.- That’s the plan, I hope it works.

The sockyarn destash continues with pairs 12 to 18. To make the Flower Power socks a little more interesting, I’ve purled every tenth row. And the yarn with the Traces of turquoise socks knit up to a different pattern than I expected.

I’ve got two sock knitting magazines with more demanding designs, but my poor old brain can’t deal with the complicated patterns. So it’s just eye candy or the odd inspiration. There are so many beautiful yarns out there, if only I had the time and money. (Reminder to myself: It says destash, not hoard more!) I’ll give knitting a little break now because of other things on my list, but a couple of new designs are already waiting in the wings.

  1. I must admit, I prefer the brighter ones, Passion for Purple, Sargasso and Summer Garden, especially the latter. You’re over halfway to having a pair of socks for each day of the month!
