Butterflies – Stage 3

This time it’s a female gatekeeper or hedge brown (Pyronia tithonus). Alas, I’ve never seen one, but here’s a link.

I’ve got two more butterflies to do, then I’ll be starting to stitch the outlines, legs and antennae.

This is my project in a SAL along with Avis and Claire who are both working on Cirque des Cercles, and Gun who is working on her blue flowers.

    • I’m currently spending my Saturday and other nights under my warm Rainbow blanket crocheting – it’s summertime. 🙂 To stitch the butterflies I need a little more daylight, I’m doing this whenever there’s a litte bit of time left on the weekends or early evenings.
