Butterflies – Stage 2

This time it’s a speckled wood (Pararge aegeria tircis). Here’s a picture of a male I took last year.

In my last butterfly post I wrote that I was going to finish one butterfly per month. Well, Avis of Sewing beside the sea convinced me to officially join her, Claire and Gun in their SAL. This means there’s a new stage to complete every three weeks. OK, I can do that. And as a side effect the project would be finished much earlier than planned. 🙂
